Feb. 2: What are you doing this week? Here's an idea. What if we had students design a piece of jewelry that depicted what they were learning about in your class, what would it be?
This week in physical science I think my students might create jewelry depicting changes of state or water molecules, maybe a Bose-Einstein condensate.
In life science they might create one of the macromolecules or food that they might eat in order to get the molecules of life that let them carry on.
I actually think that I am going to do this in class. Jewelry or a tattoo or other item that they could sell in an online store to show that they understand what molecules run their bodies.
